UVA Memorial Benches Initiative
A step towards making the built environment more inclusive of all students
Our Vision
Our vision is to highlight underrepresented women and people of color that have made an impactful contribution to either the University of Virginia or the world. We partnered with seven of the University’s colleges to recognize different alumni and alumni groups in the embodiment of concrete benches across grounds.
